Shipping & Delivery Policy
At AapkaBhandara.com, in association with Bhandara-wala.com, our mission is to ensure timely and efficient organization of Bhandaras (charitable food distributions).
While we do not sell physical products for courier shipping, our services involve food preparation, delivery, and distribution at designated venues.
This policy explains how we handle logistics and service delivery.
1. Nature of Shipping
- Our shipping refers to the movement and delivery of prepared food, raw materials, and resources required for organizing a Bhandara.
- All deliveries are handled directly by our team or through verified logistics/catering partners.
- No third-party courier or postal services are used for food shipments.
2. Service Locations
- We currently serve select cities and regions in India. Serviceability depends on location, event size, and logistics feasibility.
- Sponsors must confirm availability of services in their preferred area before booking.
- If a location is outside our serviceable region, we may recommend alternative arrangements or decline the booking.
3. Delivery Timelines
- Event Date Commitment: Delivery of food will be made on the date and time agreed with the sponsor.
- Preparation Window: Food preparation generally begins 6–12 hours before the scheduled Bhandara, depending on scale.
- Transportation Time: We account for distance, traffic, and logistics while planning delivery, but sponsors should allow for minor delays due to local conditions.
4. Sponsor Responsibilities
- Provide accurate event details (venue, date, time, expected beneficiaries).
- Ensure accessibility at the event location (parking, unloading space, permissions if needed).
- Obtain necessary approvals/permits (if required by local authorities).
- Be available or assign a representative at the venue to coordinate with our team.
5. Our Responsibilities
- Ensuring timely preparation of fresh, satvik vegetarian meals.
- Using hygienic packaging suitable for safe transportation.
- Arranging logistics vehicles and manpower required for delivery.
- Communicating updates to sponsors in case of unavoidable delays.
6. Delays in Delivery
While we make every effort to adhere to scheduled delivery times, delays may occur due to:
- Weather disruptions (heavy rains, floods, storms).
- Traffic congestion, roadblocks, or strikes.
- Government restrictions, curfews, or permit issues.
- Unforeseen emergencies (accidents, equipment failure, etc.).
In such cases:
- Sponsors will be informed immediately.
- Delivery will be completed at the earliest possible time.
- Rescheduling may be offered if the delay makes same-day execution impractical.
7. Failed Delivery Situations
A delivery may be considered failed if:
- Sponsor-provided address/venue is incorrect or incomplete.
- Sponsor/representative is unavailable to receive and coordinate at the venue.
- Local authorities deny permission for food distribution.
- Venue conditions make delivery or distribution unsafe.
In such cases, food may be redirected to nearby beneficiaries (such as temples, shelters, or communities in need) to prevent wastage.
No refund will be issued, as resources have already been allocated.
8. Food Handling & Safety After Delivery
- Once food is delivered and handed over, responsibility shifts to the sponsor or their representatives.
- We are not liable for spoilage, contamination, or wastage arising from mishandling after delivery.
- Sponsors must ensure that food is distributed within 3–4 hours of delivery for best quality and safety.
9. International Requests
Currently, we do not provide international shipping or food delivery. However, overseas sponsors can book a Bhandara online for execution within India.
10. Tracking & Updates
- Sponsors will receive event confirmations via email/SMS/WhatsApp.
- Real-time tracking (where available) may be provided for logistics.
- Updates will be shared by our coordination team during execution.
11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays, rescheduling, or non-performance of deliveries caused by events beyond our control, including:
- Natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, or public emergencies.
- Political unrest, riots, or government restrictions.
In such cases, the Bhandara may be rescheduled, or food may be redirected to alternate beneficiaries.
12. Contact Us
This Shipping Policy makes it clear that your “shipping” means food delivery, not courier parcels, and protects you legally if sponsors raise disputes about logistics.
