At AapkaBhandara.com, in association with Bhandara-wala.com, we are committed to serving with transparency, integrity, and devotion.
This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the rules regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for donations and sponsorships made through our platform.
Since our services involve planning and execution of charitable food distribution (Bhandaras), resources are mobilized immediately after receiving your sponsorship/donation.
Therefore, our refund and cancellation terms differ from conventional service providers.
1. General Policy
- All donations and sponsorship payments made on our platform are considered final and non-refundable once the process of food procurement, preparation, or event organization has begun.
- Refunds will only be considered under specific circumstances outlined below.
2. Sponsor-Initiated Cancellations
a) Cancellation Before Event Planning Begins
- If a cancellation request is made within 24 hours of payment and before procurement of raw materials or booking of services has started, we may process a refund after deducting applicable transaction fees.
b) Cancellation After Event Planning Begins
- Once food materials have been procured, volunteers/caterers scheduled, or logistics arranged, no refund will be issued, as costs are already incurred.
- Instead, the sponsor may opt to reschedule the Bhandara (see Section 4).
c) Dedication/Message Errors
- If a sponsor provides incorrect dedication details, they may request corrections up to 48 hours before the event.
- No cancellations or refunds will be issued for errors in sponsor-submitted content.
3. Organization-Initiated Cancellations
a) Unavoidable Circumstances
In rare cases, we may have to cancel or postpone a Bhandara due to:
- Government restrictions, curfews, or permissions denied.
- Natural calamities (floods, heavy rains, earthquakes, etc.).
- Public health emergencies (pandemics, epidemics).
- Logistic failures (transport strikes, union issues, vendor disruption).
b) Refund/Rescheduling Options
- In such cases, sponsors will be given the choice to:
- Reschedule the Bhandara to a later available date.
- Redirect the contribution towards another charitable event (e.g., food distribution at temples, community kitchens, or poor-feeding programs).
- Request a Refund, which will be processed only if no expenses have been incurred.
4. Rescheduling Policy
- Sponsors may request to reschedule their Bhandara up to 7 days before the scheduled event date.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and approval.
- Only one free rescheduling is permitted per booking. Additional changes may attract administrative charges.
5. Refund Processing
a) Eligibility
- Refunds (if approved under Section 2 or 3) will:
- Be processed only to the original payment method used.
- Be subject to deduction of payment gateway transaction charges and administrative fees already incurred.
b) Timeline
- Refunds will be initiated within 7-10 working days of approval.
- The actual credit to your account may take 10-15 working days, depending on your bank/payment provider.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
- Sponsor cancels after event planning/logistics begin.
- Dedication content is incorrect/misspelled due to user input.
- Beneficiaries are unable to attend/distribute due to reasons beyond our control.
- Food distributed but sponsor is dissatisfied with taste/variety (we ensure satvik & hygienic standards but individual preferences vary).
7. Force Majeure
Neither AapkaBhandara.com nor Bhandara-wala.com shall be held liable for delays, cancellations, or non-performance
due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural calamities, strikes, pandemics, war, or government restrictions.
